In how far is this a response to what I said?….It was claimed that none but Dubai could have built a thing like the Burj Dubai - as you correctly said, the only thing Dubai itself did was the raising the funds - 1 Billion Dollars to be precise…however the actual, physical building process was in no way dependent on Dubai and there are many many other countries, even people or comapnies who have that kind of money to pull off such a thing..

Laws in UAE include that such unskilled workers hired by enterprises can only remain in uae for a certain amount of time (2 years i believe?) So really.. it is the Indians who are getting jobs and getting to send money back to thier economically failing country and families who are doing well.. i don’t get the slavery part here, they’re getting jobs, and not sitting like fucking hobos you find everywhere in the US.

Enterprise: Construction companies
Funds: Dubai Government and planning
Workers: Skilled and non-skilled, non-skilled mainly Indian who got paid and were given free food and living quarters for thier stay.

oh so now we agree that its NOT dubai who builds all that stuff but mostly companies from the west?finally:)anyways they can hire all the slaves because of the laws there….so yes it is the fault of your government!
